Irish Community of Trauma-Informed Archival Practice

Archivists and those responsible for the care of sensitive records are invited to join the Irish Community of Trauma-Informed Archival Practice (ictiap.ie) in an online ‘Introduction to the Principles of Trauma-Informed Archival Practice’ on Friday, 24 May 2024 at 10 am. Hear from members of this newly formed committee about their own experiences in preserving and making available sensitive or distressing records. Learn about the main principles of a person-centred approach to archives, and discover a new online resource aimed at supporting practitioners who often work alone with challenging materials.
